ACDSee Educational Licensing Eligibility Requirements

At ACDSee, we’re committed to supporting education at all levels. That’s why we’re pleased to announce the expansion of ACDSee Educational Licensing to include Higher Education institutions, alongside K-12 schools and organizations worldwide.

To qualify for ACDSee Educational Licensing, individuals must hold positions in one of the following capacities:

  • Certified educators at K-12 (primary or secondary) institutions, accredited by relevant authorities, currently engaged in teaching roles
  • Faculty members or administrators at Higher Education institutions, including universities and colleges, accredited by relevant authorities, currently engaged in teaching roles

Additionally, the following organizations are eligible:

  • Government-recognized and formally accredited:
    • K-12 (primary, secondary, or pre-college) schools
    • Higher Education institutions (universities, colleges, etc.)
    • School districts
    • Departments of education

Access to ACDSee Educational Licensing remains valid for as long as the user maintains active eligibility, with re-verification required every three years.

Individuals or entities not eligible for ACDSee for Education include:

  • Certified K-12 educators not currently employed in teaching roles
  • Public librarians (e.g., city or county librarians)
  • Preschool or daycare assistants
  • Homeschool educators lacking licensure or current employment with K-12 institutions
  • Private, volunteer, or online tutors
  • Continuing/further education institutions
  • Adult education establishments
  • Organizations offering extracurricular activities outside formal educational settings
  • Non-profit organizations not directly involved in teaching (Note: ACDSee provides a separate program for non-profits with its own eligibility criteria)
  • Early-stage startups with an educational focus
  • Parents of K-12 students
